If you’re on the hunt for a new or used truck in the greater Minneapolis area that can keep up with you both at work and in your downtime, we recommend that your search starts and stops right here at Walser Toyota. We boast a wide selection of powerful trucks that range in towing capacity and size, and today, we’d like to focus on the full-size Toyota Tundra pickup.

The 2014 edition of this popular ride has been praised for its utility, efficiency, and easy to handle drivetrain, and it was just recognized by the Texas Auto Writers Association (TAWA) for its outstanding towing capacity.

The TAWA tests and ranks the industry’s top trucks and SUVs, and the Toyota Tundra was the only full-size pickup truck that met the rigid J2807 tow standards of the Society of Automotive Engineers. The J2807 standard demands that vehicles can handle a specific towing capacity and the Tundra is the only pickup to ever meet the organization’s strict criteria since it was established in 2011.

The automaker is incredibly proud of this accomplishment and prides itself in making cars that are tough enough to meet the demands of their customers. “Tundra owners can tow confidently knowing that the published tow rating has been verified by the industry’s foremost engineering authority,” explains Mike Sweers, chief engineer of the Tundra, “With Tundra, what you see is what you get.”1

If you aren’t convinced that the Tundra is for you, stop by our West Bloomington, MN dealership and our sales team will be more than happy to share more information with you about our selection of capable trucks.
