Toyota Camry Remains a Company Priority

Any used car dealer will tell you that when it comes to mid-sized sedans it is hard to do better than a Toyota Camry. Since this model’s first years in the early 80s, the Camry has grown to become a worldwide favorite for drivers who need reliable cars that will stand the test of time.

It has been almost 30 years since the first Camry rolled off the assembly lines but in that time it has become a powerhouse of a vehicle selling hundreds of thousands of new units every year. The success of the Camry did not go unnoticed by other automakers either. In fact, one look down the streets of Minneapolis, and you will see economy-minded midsize vehicles from nearly every automaker on the planet. For Toyota, that just means that Camry innovation can’t stop.

Senior Vice President of Toyota, Bob Carter, spoke about the Camry and said that it would remain a fixture and a priority amongst all the vehicles in the current new Toyota lineup.

Toyota has set a new goal of selling 400,000 new Camrys by the end of the year. That might sound outrageous, but 200,000 have already sold since the beginning of the year so Toyota has the potential to go the distance.

There is a reason that so many drivers around the country turn to the Camry for their day-to-day driving needs. Find out why today by visiting us at the Walser Toyota showroom and taking a test drive. Our Toyota dealership is located at 4401 American Blvd, West Bloomington, MN 55437. We hope to see you soon.
