Toyota Brings Stylish FT-1 Concept to Detroit Auto Show and Gran Turismo 6 Video Game

Today marks the first day of the Detroit Auto Show, and it is also the first time auto enthusiasts were able to see the concept that is predicted to be the precursor to Toyota’s next sports car. The Toyota FT-1 Concept is what many are saying will be the successor to the Supra, and we have all of the exciting details to share with you right here on our blog.

While the FT-1 is simply a concept for now, tomorrow fans will have the chance to experience its performance virtually when it becomes available to download on Gran Turismo 6. For those of you in the West Bloomington, MN area who have the video game, you’ll have the opportunity to test drive the model that is based directly off the specs of a possible production model.

It will certainly be exciting to see how it compares to other vehicles within the game. We having a feeling its competition won’t stand a chance. As for the concept, the FT stands for “future toyota” and is said to be an accurate representation of the direction the brand’s design language is heading in. Whether or not it is an actual Supra model successor, that is yet to be confirmed by the automaker. Only time will tell!
