2019 RAV4

The New 2019 RAV4

Making its debut in America 22 years ago, the RAV4 not only added to the small SUV class, but actually created it. Since then, the Toyota RAV4 has been a favorite among drivers today. With 9 trim levels to choose from, drivers are guaranteed to find something that fits their driving wants and needs. It may be hard to believe that Toyota was able to improve the already impressive 2018 RAV4, but that is exactly what they did. Toyota engineers took the segment leading compact SUV and rebuilt it from the bottom-up, now giving drivers more power, capability, and advanced specs than ever before.

More Power and Fuel Efficiency

Understanding the importance of performance, Toyota has equipped all five 2019 RAV4 gas models with a Dynamic Force 2.5-liter inline-four-cylinder engine paired to an 8-speed Direct-Shift Automatic Transmission. These new powertrains allow the RAV4 gas models to generate over 200 horsepower without sacrificing fuel efficiency.

MPG: 26/35/30 (FWD)

MPG: 27/34/30 (LE AWD)

MPG: 25/33/28 (AWD, excluding LE)

Hybrid lovers will be happy to learn that all 4 of the upcoming 2019 RAV4 Hybrid models are powered by a Dynamic Force 2.5-liter inline-four-cylinder Toyota Hybrid System II (THS II) engine with Electronically-Controlled Continuously-Variable Transmission (ECVT). These engines not only provide an average of 16 mpg more than the gas models, but also supplies 16 more horsepower, giving the driver extra power without giving up important fuel economy. The all new XSE Hybrid guarantees to be the fastest Rav4 in the lineup while providing exceptional fuel efficiency. This performance boost comes at a surprising low premium making the hybrid lineup a relatively easy choice.

State of The Art Technology

Each 2019 RAV4 comes with Toyota's Entune 3.0 multimedia which includes Wi-Fi Connect, Hands-free access to Amazon Alexa, and Apple CarPlay, with the option to get features like Dynamic Navigation, SiriusXM, Service Connect, Destination Assist, and Remote Connect. And don't worry about charging your phone, just choose from 1 of the 5 available USB ports and you are on your way to having power wherever you go. No charging cords? No problem. The New RAV4 has an optional Qi wireless charging tray, making it easy to power your device no matter the circumstances.

In addition to its already impressive selection of entertainment options, the RAV4 also comes standard with a 7" touch-screen display with an optional 8" display as you upgrade to higher trim levels. Now the most impressive piece of technology you own is the one you drive.

Safety For You And Your RAV4

Toyota has been a leader in safety for years, and that trend continues with its new RAV4 lineup. Every new 2019 RAV4 comes standard with the second generation of Toyota Safety Sense. This ever-improving state of the art technology includes the following capabilities:

  • Auto High Beams
